7 Strands brings together the work of members of the internationally renowned 62 Group of Textile Artists working in various disciplines including stitch, weave and conceptual textiles, which challenge the boundaries between fine art and making. Please join us at the Private View, Wednesday June 1st, 5-8.30pm.
The exhibition, which includes work by Ann Goddard, Christine Gornawicz, Sue Stone, Lucy Brown, Dorothy Ann Daly, Helen Banzhaf and Tilleke Schwarz, starts on June 2nd and ends July 23rd. http://gategallery.co.uk/Exhibitions.html
Also, from June 16th to July 17th, larger works by these artists will be on display at 7 Strands at the Minster.  On July 12th, a Textile Symposium, featuring Tilleke Schwarz and Lucy Brown, will take place in Grimsby Minster.
