Marilyn Rathbone's piece "Kumihimo Viperidae Cabinets" has been selected for inclusion in the 2008 Waterhouse Natural History Art Prize Exhibition to take place in the South Australian Museum, Adelaide from 2 August to 7 September 2008.

In this exhibition several 62 group members participate, like Alice Kettle, Tilleke Schwarz, Shizuko Kimuro, Michael Brennand-Wood and Elisabeth Couzins-Scott.

Exhibition from June 21th - September 7th at Compton verney in the UK, see www.comptonverney.org.uk.
This exhibition will explore the theme of myths through the medium and history of textiles. From Ariadne's thread to the story of Arachne transformed from weaver to spider, these narratives have communicated associations including redemption, protection, metamorphosis and communication. The exhibition will explore the way textiles have shaped both cultural and personal myths. The Fabric of Myth will include historic textiles, sculpture, painting and work by contemporary artists such as Delaine le Bas, Joseph Beuys, Louise Bourgeois, William Homan Hunt, Alice Kettle, Henry Moore, Elaine Reichek, Bispo do Rosário, Tilleke Schwarz and Michelle Walker.
