There’s a Fine Line…!
An exhibition by Paddy Killer
Drawing and research have always been the bases of Paddy Killer’s practice. She draws on anything, both physically and mentally, and over the years has employed paper, fabric, wood, plaster, ceramics and glass. Inspired by the art and architecture of Ancient Greece and Rome to the present day, and more recently, historical textiles, Paddy Killer’s works are made using technical drawing pens, a digital tablet and pen, and sewing machine needles.
You can meet the artist at the Late Shows on Saturday 14th May, 7pm-11pm. Paddy Killer will also be running a Masterlcass on Saturday 11th June and an Art Workshop on Saturday 18th June. See the ‘What’s on’ section of www.gateshead.gov.uk or telephone 0191 433 6965 for details.
The exhibition runs from Saturday 7th May – Saturday 25th June 2011
