‘EAST HAND’
62 Group member Michelle House has been invited to exhibit with Flyover Arts at their forthcoming exhibition ‘East Hand’.
The exhibition is being held at the Foreman’s Smokehouse Gallery in east London, which is above a newly built fish-smoking factory, with a great restaurant, bar and balcony – all sitting directly facing the Olympic Stadium.
Work on show will encompass a broad range of mediums including stone sculpture, stained glass, ceramics, painting, embroidered textiles and print. Many works are impressively large in scale, with artists working for architects and urban planners as well as for gallery exhibitions.
