About Us

In 1962, several young embroidery graduates formed a pressure group which became known as the 62 Group of Textile Artists. Since its establishment, some of the most highly regarded British textile artists have been members. The membership is now international and is achieved through selection.

Joining Us

Membership is open to those of any age, gender or nationality working in any textile media worldwide and applications for new members are considered annually. If you are interested in joining the 62 Group you can learn about the application procedure for membership on our designated page.
